We run two flocks of sheep on our farm.  The main flock which number 300+ are Llyn Cross ewes and are put to Charolais rams.  The Llyn ewes are a thrifty breed which are able to thrive on the natural grasses around Polesden Lacey, Bookham and Chapel Farm, West Humble.  The Charolais rams impart a good, well-muscled carcase on to their offspring which allows for easy lambings.

Our lambs are finished on grass during Summer and turnips in late Autumn/Winter.

Our second flock comprises approximately fifty Dorset Cross ewes.  They lamb around Christmas-time to give prime Spring lamb for Easter.
